Creating intersted animation and putting them in the instrctional design can better help learners understand complex and abstract concepts.
Animation
My animation is related a programming concept: sequences. I used shapes, texts and their motion to represent this small concept. I also presented a keyword for this concept, which I hope to reduce learners’ cognitive load to remember this concept. Through combining the animation and narration in the video, learners could better understand what the concept is. To create the animation, I used classic and motion tween together to make the shapes moving. In addition, by adjusting different orders of these objects, the animation could address learners’ attention and help them learn better for this concept.
